BUT WHILE WE ENJOY AN OPEN DIALOGUE WITH OUR VIEWERS, WE ASK THAT ALL COMMENTS AND POSTS COMPLY WITH THE RULES OF MUTUAL RESPECT FOR BOTH USERS OF THE CANOPY GROWTH CORPORATION WEBSITE AND OTHERS.

Canopy Growth Corporation, including its subsidiaries, uses a number of social media channels on which it encourages you to like or follow them. We use these various channels to disseminate information regarding the latest news, employment opportunities, events and industry information. They also serve to collect valuable feedback from you, our customers and the general public. In doing so, we follow the rules currently adopted by specific social media. We also reserve the right to remove any submissions that violate the applicable social media's rules or that do not comply with the following general guidelines:

  • You should maintain the rules of good taste in your posts and comments - we are representatives of a professional company and we show the same level of respect to our interlocutors.
  • You should not post messages that are unlawful, false, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually suggestive or racist.
  • You should not post the same or very similar information more than once (this is known as spamming).
  • You should not place advertisements for products or services.

Canopy Growth Corporation reserves the right to restrict or remove any content that is deemed to violate the policies of that particular social media site or applicable law.

Monitoring accounts, responding

We monitor all our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you contact us using the channels above at the times listed, we will endeavor to respond as quickly as possible, however, some requests may experience delays while searching for an appropriate response. Deleting posts and blocking users

As a general rule, we will not remove posts made on the social media channels we use, but we are committed to removing posts or blocking users and accounts that break the rules described above without any explanation. Users committing similar offenses will once again be blocked from using social media (this will happen after they have received three strikes in the form of deleting the post or receiving a direct message containing this information).

Defamation

Please do not use Canopy Growth's social media channels to promote statements that are intended to be defamatory. Under the law, this means promoting terms that lower the reputation of a person or organization in the eyes of reasonable people who have access to it. For this reason, any statement that could be considered defamatory will be removed.
